Having already three athletes qualify for the NAIA National Outdoor Championships, the William Woods University men's track and field team will look to add to that total on Friday afternoon, as the Owls participate in the Central Missouri Mule Relays.
On Thursday afternoon, William Woods University's distance runner, Kaleb Wilson, will be participating at the Kansas Relays, in hopes of qualifying for the NAIA Outdoor Nationals.
For his impressive showing at the Darrel Gourley Open this past Saturday, William Woods University's own, Nick Zink, was named American Midwest Conference (AMC) Track Athlete of the Week, announced by the AMC office on Monday.
The William Woods University men's track and field team competed at the Darrel Gourley Open on Saturday afternoon and finished in seventh place with 48 points, but the Owls will be sending two more athletes to the NAIA Outdoor National Championship.
