The William Woods University women's track and field team picked up its second consecutive second place finish, as the Owls collected four first place finishes at the Central Methodist University Invitational on Saturday.

The William Woods University women's track and field distance runners had a strong display at the Washington University Invitational on Friday evening.

After coming off a second place finish at the Wildcat Open last weekend, the William Woods University women's track and field team will return to action on Friday and Saturday, as the team will compete at the Central Methodist Invitational.

For the first time in her collegiate season with the Owls, William Woods University's Alliah McClendon, was named American Midwest Conference (AMC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the AMC office.
